Types of Implant-Retained Dentures

Upper vs. Lower Implant Dentures

Implant dentures can be used for the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. Upper implant dentures may require additional implants because the bone and forces are different from the lower jaw. In some cases, implants can also allow for a denture design that does not cover the roof of the mouth, which may improve comfort and taste.
